The 2026 Focus Lab: A Life-Planning Experience to Align, Commit, and Move Forward Together

On Sunday, February 1, at Pershing Hall, something meaningful is happening.

The 2026 Focus Lab is a live, in-person experience designed to help people step out of distraction and into alignment. Not just with their goals, but with each other.

This experience is powerful on your own. It becomes transformational when experienced together.

Because when two people are aligned in direction, energy, and intention, everything accelerates.

Why This Matters More Than Ever

Most people have set goals before.

They have written resolutions.

They have built vision boards.

They have said, “This is the year.”

And then life happens.

Schedules collide.

Energy drifts.

Good intentions slowly give way to old patterns.

Not because people do not care.

But because alignment takes more than desire.

It takes structure.

It takes honesty.

It takes shared clarity.

That is where the Focus Lab comes in.

Why Alignment Changes Everything

When you move through life alone, growth is linear.

When you move with someone who sees you, challenges you, and holds you accountable, growth compounds.

Most couples do not struggle because they lack love or effort.

They struggle because they are not aligned.

They are pulling in slightly different directions.

They are building separate visions without realizing it.

They are growing, but not always together.

The Focus Lab creates space to change that.

It gives couples the opportunity to step back, slow down, and intentionally align around where they are going and how they want to get there.

Our Story

A few years ago, I built a five-year plan for my life.

Not a vision board.

Not a loose idea of what I hoped might happen.

A real plan built around clarity, discipline, and direction.

At the time, it was mine. My vision. My responsibility.

It included building a business, reshaping my priorities, and creating a life that felt aligned instead of reactive. I genuinely believed it would take five years to bring that vision to life.

It took less than two.

Not because I worked harder than everyone else.

Not because I burned myself out.

But because I built structure that supported who I was becoming.

And then something important happened.

That structure stopped being mine alone.

Katelyn and I began refining it together. We talked through what we were building, what we wanted our life to look like, and how we wanted to move through it side by side. We didn’t just share goals. We aligned our direction, our standards, and our expectations of ourselves and each other.

That shift changed everything.

Progress stopped feeling heavy.

Decisions became clearer.

Momentum became shared instead of forced.

What I learned through that process is this:

growth accelerates when the people closest to you are aligned with where you are going.

That is why the Focus Lab matters so deeply, especially for couples.

When two people are moving in the same direction with clarity, honesty, and shared accountability, everything expands. The relationship strengthens. The vision sharpens. The path forward becomes lighter, not heavier.

The Focus Lab is built to create that alignment.

Not by telling couples what to want. But by helping them clearly see what they already want, and how to move toward it together.

Discipline, Redefined

Most people think discipline means pushing harder or forcing productivity.

That is not discipline.

That is resistance.

Real discipline is alignment.

It is acting in accordance with who you want to become.

It is choosing behaviors that support the life you are building together.

It is creating systems that make consistency feel natural, not forced.

Once discipline is rooted in alignment, it stops feeling like punishment and starts feeling like what it actually is: freedom.

Who the Focus Lab Is For

The Focus Lab is designed for couples at different stages, but with a shared desire to grow.

Some couples are building from the ground up.

Others are refining something that already works.

Some are seeking clarity around direction.

Others are ready to move with greater intention and momentum.

What matters is that both partners are willing to show up honestly, communicate openly, and take responsibility for the life they are creating together.

This experience gives you the space to do that.

What the Focus Lab Actually Is

The Focus Lab is a one-day, in-person experience at Pershing Hall.

It is not a motivational seminar.

It is not a therapy session.

It is not a surface-level workshop.

It is a guided, intentional experience designed to help couples align their vision, values, and execution.

Together, you will:

  • Clarify your shared priorities for 2026

  • Identify where energy is being misdirected or drained

  • Understand how your individual goals support the relationship as a whole

  • Create a shared plan that respects both autonomy and unity

  • Build structures that support consistency, communication, and accountability

This is about alignment, not perfection.

What You Will Walk Away With

By the end of the Focus Lab, you will have:

  • A shared vision you both believe in

  • Clear priorities for the year ahead

  • Tools to communicate more effectively around goals and expectations

  • A realistic plan you can actually live by

  • A deeper sense of connection and mutual accountability

This is not about motivation that fades.

It is about building momentum that lasts.

Ongoing Support and Community

The Focus Lab does not end when the day does.

Participants will receive access to ongoing opportunities for accountability, reflection, and continued growth throughout 2026.

This community exists to support couples who are serious about growth, alignment, and shared purpose.

You do not have to do this alone.

A Note on The Focus Room

The 2026 Focus Lab is presented by The Focus Room and reflects the same principles of clarity, discipline, and intentional living that guide everything we do.

Participants will also receive early access to future experiences, events, and opportunities within the Focus Room ecosystem.

No pressure.

Just alignment.

The movement becomes intentional.

The Focus Lab creates the space for that shift.

One day.

One room.

One shared direction forward.
